For the last couple of months, people who were looking to buy or let before the lockdown are still very much looking to move and have been eagerly waiting for the housing market to re-open. Following the government announcement on Tuesday 12th May 2020, on Wednesday 13th May 2020 buyers & tenants took full advantage of agents being given the green light to carry out face-to-face viewings and valuation. We experienced a surge in activity and there are no signs of this slowing down anytime soon, the market needs new stock so now is a good time, but be realistic on price because a lack of supply does not mean prices are going to shoot up.
